  1. Uh oh, looks like you stumbled on a bug. I will work to get that fixed post-haste. In the meantime, if you shoot me what you wanted to name your Adoptable, and which adoptable, I will change it for you
  2. So, as some of you may know, you can usually choose a reaction at the bottom of a person's post. What you may not know, is these help that user know how you feel. Many also give positive reputation to that user, which helps them win our Leaderboard! Reacting to posts is something that everyone should be doing as it helps highlight those members who are putting out great topics and posts. You will notice I have added a lot more reactions, as well as worked the images to match our emoticons as well. This should allow a wider range of reactions for everyone. If you have any suggestions, please comment below! !
  3. I shall start first I am 30 years old (31 as of November 4th) I am a male. I currently live in San Diego, CA. Late November moving up to Washington. I am a Software Engineer by career, but am a total geek. I have four doggo's, and 2 kiddos. I sometimes think I have 6 doggo's occasionally.
  4. Hello fellow TGL'ites . I am hoping this topic will catch on, and we can get to know all our members in more details. I know we do individual introduction threads for everyone, but these tend to be more "Welcome, glad you made it." type of affairs. What I want to know, is about all of you. So, lets introduce yourselves by sharing some basic facts about ourselves, these can be in the form of: How old you are. What your gender is. Where you live (can be general or exact). What you do / What you are studying. How many pets (and/or) kids you have. This is also an open topic, so feel to reply with questions or input from what people post. This topic is all about getting to know each other and saying "Howdy"! @Artist @Game Owner @Members @Programmer @Writer
  5. Let's weigh in TGL'ites (I just came up with that one!)! How do you feel about life and death in virtual pet sites? Do you support a pet's death if they are old/neglected/etc? Do you support a site that the pets never die? Why do you feel either way? I am genuinely curious about everyone's opinion on this. @Artist @Game Owner @Members @Programmer @Writer
  6. Just wondering how many of our @Artist and @Writer have ever tried out for any competitions or events with their skills? What was it about? How did you do? Was it fun? Would you do it again?
  7. Wonderful sketch there @Ouli! Beautiful portrait @Cadence! I love the positive message in the doodle, @Blaire!
  8. This would be one potential benefit from teamwork. As I mentioned, there is an economical. Usually the teams that can gather the most will usually have the greatest growth and advantage in most other aspects of a game.
  9. Assuming there is an economy, a single user cannot amass nearly enough resources efficiently to be able to provide any wide advantage. A group can gather more then a single person. It's one reason why we are communal creatures by nature. There is this, which I can totally agree on players doing it themselves if the game's community/activity is too little to provide enough players. The nice thing about the idea behind this game is that some packs (especially the ones you join at the start) have some NPC based wolves to help.
  10. I guess the argument (and this is strictly game d sign and theory) is whether or not those people are able to do better playing all sides versus a group of people working together. It isn’t so much trying to stop people from that play style but offering advantages to group cooperation.
  11. Calling all @Programmers who are interested in work!
  12. I would say the answer lies here. If two packs are allies, then you can share such information. If they are enemies, then no information gets shared. I think most users should catch on to this relatively quickly. I think this is more of a culture things for the site, how your forums present themselves, having helpful rules and guidelines to point out the potential of upsetting your pack if were to sabotage or otherwise share something that could be harmful. This is where I think appropriate social engineering comes in, and maybe a little moderation.
  13. Very cool, we have a lot of wonderful @Artist who sell amazing works!
  14. Awesome! You will find lots of work in our Looking to Hire forum!
  15. Welcome @NeeahLee! How are you doing? Anything we can help you with?
  16. How have you worked through this fear so far? Perhaps a contract or other form of guarantee? It is always scary to do something new without previous knowledge. You have done a great job with Foodbabs and it shows!
  17. Reviving these, as these are fun and relatively easy to play! Significance
  18. Any @Programmer wanting a good part-time position?
  19. Heads up to any @Programmer who is looking for work!
  20. I for one absolutely hate my handwriting. It is usually scribbled and rough around the edges. I am curious if other @Writer s and @Artist s actually like their handwriting? Do you think your creative talents help improve your writing? Also, if any of you wish to share a sample of your handwriting for critique, let's see it
