So, what will you be this Halloween? Any amazing costumes, or creative ideas brewing? I myself don't usually dress up, however I have a storm trooper and a baby skeleton I will be taking and about.

Again, I cannot really put into words how amazing this community is, and how supportive all of you are! You all rock!

I have used LESS and SASS both in the past, and always found SASS to be much more flexible and more comfortable for myself personally. I hardly start new projects with plain CSS anymore. Any other @Programmer or @Game Owner making use of LESS or SASS?

To make the idea of Artist, Writers, Programmers, and Game Owners more prominent, and to alleviate some of the headache of me trying to move members into these groups (which I have been terribly neglecting), now all members can choose their groups freely. How this Works So to set your group, you can do so in your Account Settings, https://thegaminglist.com/settings/changegroup/. If you are just registering, you can choose it at registration. Please note: If you sign in through social networks, you will not be able to choose at registration, but can do so afterwards using the link above. You can only choose one category. If you are a Game Owner, but also an Artist, you should choose which one you wish to be known more for. What about Core Members? Core membership will be going away. This is to make sure we can better adapt to the needs of a community that is constantly growing.

Now that Jumpstart is flush with cash after being acquired, it is good to see they are putting some of it towards Neo!

So, I unfortunately have to apologize to the community. I made a decision earlier this week to transition from our current community platform to a new one. I thought it was good idea, however it became very clear I was wrong relatively early. For the time being, I have reverted back to this platform, which we will stay in. IF you changed your password to something new on the new platform, you can use your older password here.

As long as they have parent permission and the parent submits it, I see no issues.

They can be used to discuss development, or provide posts about what is in development. The Discord server is generally loose on specific uses for each channel. Since we are heavily developer focused, it makes sense to allow such discussions

When posting topics in the Code and Scripting Forum So, beyond our normal rules and guidelines, we wanted to list some more guidelines here when posting in this section for people. These are more of how one should approach asking for help, and how people should respond to others asking for help. Our goal is for this section is to make it constructive, not prohibitive or negative to both people who need help or people providing help. When Posting for Help: First off, make sure you include as much information as you can, code samples help. Don't expect an instant response, it may take a bit for someone to be around to help. You get what you give, be open to the feedback from others about your question, not defensive. Learning something new starts with being open to wanting to learn. If you ask for help, but don't want to learn, you will have a miserable experience. That is on you, not on anyone who tried to help you. When Replying to a topic: Be constructive, provide examples to your reply. Don't attack the original poster for their attempt, be positive about helping them become better. I actually live and die by this in order to manage a hectic life in general. It works if you are consistent and stick to it.
