@Aminirus Covered it really well, basically. Practice different styles, but it's also okay to specialize, and become the very best at doing just one thing (pets or backgrounds or items, for example). Never stop learning and improving!

@Digital It depends on the day! I'll check for new messages or tickets several times a day as I work on misc. art and development tasks, and generally sit down to do uploads, news and other tasks for several hours in a block of time when needed, so it varies wildly.

Do you have a tablet that's not a drawing tablet, like a ipad or something like that? There are a lot of cheap apps you can use to start out on that Otherwise, I recommend a small Wacom Intuos tablet. Mine was only $200 or so and I've had it for over five years!~

I'll just second all of this, haha. I couldn't do 98% of my work without my tablet.

There's a good bit to do from the day-to-day, depending on how involved you are vs how many staff members you delegate tasks to. Examples would be social media posts, responding to modbox tickets / logging and fixing bugs, writing news posts, mediating issues between players, etc. just off the top of my head.

I actually do! It's important to make a game that's fun enough to want to play yourself. I really don't have time to play petsites because of the time I spend in development, but it's still fun, hehe.

Google's Adsense program is truly a nightmare. We still have money in limbo we aren't able to collect because of their bugs and lack of customer service. Literally, there's not a single person you can call or email with issues, as I'm sure you quickly discovered, lol.

I think this honestly comes down to Nostalgia and personal preference. "Good" and "Bad" shows are completely objective, and could cover a wide range of potential talking points - art style, narrative, message, etc. It sounds like you're taking a strong stance of "Old Cartoons (or at least the ones you watched) are more moral / wholesome than Today's Cartoons", and I'm not sure if that's possible to argue on such a wide scale because of a gradually shifting culture and societal norms, not to mention the incredible variety of content show-to-show. In summary, "the good old days" of cartoons might seem like a fine point of comparison at first, but I don't think it can hold its weight.

@Shex has done item artwork for Novilar in the past. She's been flexible, on time, produced good work, and been receptive to critique! We communicated via Skype and handled payments through PayPal with zero issues. 10/10, would hire again for future Item Art needs.

It's not a big deal to me, but yeah! Maybe something small like that, if it's not too much trouble for Digital.

I like the way you have it, now! With the random games at the top and the top-rated ones at the bottom. Excellent job! One more suggestion along the same lines, though. Perhaps limit listings to games that are actually playable? Perhaps with a registration system in place as the bare minimum. Several of the site listings appear to be completely blank ^_^'' Very um, very unhelpful, lol.
