  1. I think it goes both ways, but I think it also begins with whatever predisposition you have in terms of choosing sides, however the decisive factor for me is character depth and character development thereof. This is part of the reason why I meticulously research books on Goodreads prior to making any selections, since some characters just become insufferable for me, thus ending up with favoring the villain, but mostly when there is a thin layer of protagonism underneath.
  2. I am a sucker for Japan and their culture, but actually living there I'm sure would be a cultural shock, no matter how much you may expect to be familiarized with any of it. Having a friend to tag a long who speaks the language would give you a head-start in both developing a grasp of the language, culture as well as the surroundings, but I'm fairly certain considering how welcoming they are, it wouldn't be too too difficult to do either way. That said, I've never been, but it's at the top of my bucket list in terms of travel destinations, but yes, I'd also be fairly willing to even live there based on what I've seen and learned over the years.
  3. I recall having two accounts in it, and I have to say I haven't used either in years, but I still have my stuff uploaded there. It's a choice that I find to be a "shooting your own foot" type of thing, but then again there are so many similar services nowadays that I don't think it would be too terribly inconvenient to migrate to another service.
  4. I've only one to date, and I don't know whether I say that thankfully or otherwise about that number, but I am definitely still utterly ashamed 10+ years later, that even now as a grown person who can admit heavily embarrassing things, that one username is one I cannot get over (hint: although I blame it on the biology class the day I chose it, in attempt to have a unique one), to the point that I actually had someone ask me why I chose it a couple of years in. Ignorance is bliss they say, and that was truly so back in the day.
  5. For me it would have to be my wallet, phone, keys and depending on the weather, sunglasses.
  6. Maybe not so much Christmas stuff, but Christmas music has been on and off of my playlist regularly since mid-September, so that should tell you something, haha!
  7. Hi everyone! Good to see so many familiar faces around!
