  1. @jakdacrowe Of the type that would have you draw more regularly!

I'm full-time also, but the norm has become ending up working at least 2-3 hours overtime, but I won't say what my record is haha!

And yeah, what'chu gonna do, it's part of having to deal directly with people.

I'd actually love nacho chips with cheese right now though!

  2. Collecting has never quite been an attractive feature to me, so I second what was said by @Hare and @SingSong.

Personally, I am much more intrigued and lean more towards having sites with a battling system that permits looting, which I find much more rewarding than completing collections, especially if it is that type of collecting where you"lock" down the items by submitting them in the collection itself, thus making it impossible to remove them. I've never been much of a display type of person, so it never interested me, perhaps aside from the items which have no use and instead of cluttering my inventory I'd move them to the collection feature.

I am all for having the type of collection to unlock a certain map area, or perhaps even a certain feature, as long as there is an incremental increase in difficulty between obtaining each piece. In my experience, the jump from one to the other is a bit too large in that it makes it conditional for you to rely and adhere to, in lack of a better word, "side activities" in order to even be able to shoot for the next piece. That in itself I suppose is fine, but then the rewards I think should be proportionate which is something that I find to be lacking most times, but then again it really is an equilibrium which is difficult to balance in terms of content updates which would justify the entire bit.

  3. Myself I am against dying pets.

I think it warps the sense of progression, albeit I haven't played properly played a game in years at this point, but for someone who is quite busy with work for the majority of the day, there are times when I simply am unable to access the game and give it the attention I would like and that it would require, which is to say it is not necessarily intentional "neglect" and I am not a fan of being penalized for it.

I am not even for any type of penalty that some sites use by limiting certain areas of the site unless the pet reaches whatever optimum levels that have been designated. I like the sense of having the entire game unlocked and the freedom to go about it at my own leisure.

  4. @Pepper-Head

    Likewise!

I've been good! Started working full time (full time overtime would be more accurate haha) about a year ago, so I'm terribly busy most of the time, but it's good to be back among familiar people! Didn't realize I'd missed being in a forum quite like this, and it's great that so many from the community have come here also.

And how have you been? How's it all going?

  5. I think it goes both ways, but I think it also begins with whatever predisposition you have in terms of choosing sides, however the decisive factor for me is character depth and character development thereof.

This is part of the reason why I meticulously research books on Goodreads prior to making any selections, since some characters just become insufferable for me, thus ending up with favoring the villain, but mostly when there is a thin layer of protagonism underneath.
