Confetti and fireworks fill the air in abundance, carrying with them a sense of joy and hope. There is also a sort of calm, despite the many excited Pets running about and smacking pinatas. There are so many things to do, so many things to learn... ah! It must be a brand new year, which means it's time for Ansvin! Have you got some Weapons lying about collecting dust? Put them to good use over at the Ansvin Pinata! This pinata is quite sturdy, so you'll need to have a Battle Item ready in your inventory in order to smash it open. This is break your Battle Item, so don't use anything you'd like to keep! You may take a crack at it once per hour, up to three times a day. You may win some older Ansvin-themed Items, including pinatas! Speaking of... it's time for Pinata Mania! To take part, just head on over and click whichever pinata you'd like to open. You may win nothing (a shower of confetti is always included, though!), a consolation prize of an older Ansvin Item, or a new pinata! If you are lucky enough to receive the latter, you also win the round! A new round begins every half hour, and ends when the pinata is found. You may click a pinata once every thirty seconds, or once every fifteen seconds if you have a UHD, available at the I.C.E Shop. Happy New Year, CE players! We are so grateful for each and every wonderful CE player. 2023 was a wonderful year of learning and growing as a community. This news post will cover some of our favorite 2023 updates, new releases, and our update plan for the start of 2024. Keep reading to learn more! First off, I am excited to highlight a few of my personal favorite horses spotted in our “Show and Tell” Discord channel. If you are not a part of our Discord community, be sure to join here! (https://discord.gg/wsdE723UnU)! It is a great way to interact with players and learn some fun tips from seasoned players. First Highlight - Dravonna! Dravonna is a long time player of Celestial Equine and constantly wows with her fantastic line of horses. Here are a few of our favorites! Next highlight is a newer player, FriendHamster! FriendHamster has produced some of our favorite, most interesting crosses. Here are a few favorites from our Discord channel. Lastly, PurplePoppy!PurplePoppy consistently blow us away with her fantastic genetic combinations! Here are a few recently shared favorites. Each of the mentioned players has received 5 gems! Be sure to check back for more player spotlights and gifts for those selected. Next up, site updates! As previously mentioned, we are hard at work improving our majorly outdated code. These updates will improve our speed (page load time) and the overall functionality of CE. While this update is tedious, we expect players to notice big differences in game quality. We do not have an exact release date for this update, but we will keep everyone updates as we move through the testing phases on our development server. These changes in a thorough testing mode to ensure the updates do not cause errors for game-play. Gene releases Brand-new glitter prancer genes can now be found in the magic shop and alliances! This gene series will only circulate in the magic shop during the month of January but will remain in the alliances indefinitely. We have also released 8 new variations of the beloved Sekhmet mane tail series! The entire series can be previewed in the spotlight event area, here, or individually in the cash shop. This means you are more likely to see them stocking in the Snow Jar Igloo until December 31st, 23:59:59 IST. They are also available in the I.C.E Shop for 500 IceCash (450 for Gold Accounts) until the same date. The Winter Surprise Basket will also stop stocking in all NPC stores, and no longer be handed out as a quest reward, on December 31st, 23:59:59 IST. This is also when Lahja will be wrapping up the Holiday Gift Exchange, so grant some wishes while you still can! Member of the Month voting for this month is ending soon! Some small but awesome changes have been made to breeding! H3 Meters and Breeding Breeding now costs 5 hunger, no matter what! No more complicated math to figure out which H3 meters you need to fill. Pumas no longer lose happiness or health when breeding. The max of 75% hunger for in-pride and 50% for out-of-pride limits are still in place. Multi-kitten litters If both parents in a breeding are at least 90% happy, there is now a rare chance for extra kittens! If you are premium, or at least one user is premium for out-of-pride breedings, the chance is even greater for bonus kittens! Litters of 2 are more common than 3, which are more common than 4, up to 5 possible at the rarest outcome. Favors still work as they normally do, each favor has the same chances as normal breedings! Happy holidays, CE players! Keep reading for a quick update regarding releases, returning genes, development, and more. We are so excited to announce the release of a new set of winter genes. The Alenis line of genes is now live in the cash shop and spotlight event area. These sets include a new mane/tail series, wreath wearable, and some cute snow boots! In other news, winter genes have taken over the Magic shop, Tack Shop and Celestial Mercantile. Be sure to hop on over to the Exploration map to check out what goodies are stocking.
