I took my old username, Jelly, tweaked it till it sounded right, and then added a couple repeating letters just to trip people up. or something like that. What are you passionate about on Wajas? Well, if you look at my user stats it will suggest I am REALLY passionate about shadow items. Always enjoyed dressing up my wajas and feel I have only gotten better over the last couple years. Slowly going through the process of retouching and updating my custom dressups. What do you collect? (On Wajas, irl, or both!)? I collect a few things, but my favorite thing to collect has to be glitches. Breeding script hiccups, art errors, other unexpected weird stuff I find super cool and love expanding my pack of misfits on wajas. The Auroras were born from the conflicts that once filled Terrafrost, and we have to wonder... if the strife gripping this year's Amourok were to result in a new Aurora, who would they be? Let us know in the An Aurora for Amourok Contest!
Note: A fourth Aurora will not be officially created! (They already have matching wedding rings, and a chore schedule worked out -- it'd just be a whole thing to work out, you know?) This is just a fun contest idea. We are excited to see what you all come up with!
Please keep the following rules regarding your entry in mind:
Rule 1 - Any work submitted must be your own. You cannot ask another User, a friend, or a family member to colour the image for you.
Rule 2 - One entry per User.
Rule 3 - You may create your Aurora however you'd like: through a story, a digital or traditional image, macaroni art, etc!
Rule 4 - All entries submitted must be considered appropriate under the Terms and Conditions of IcePets.
Rule 5 - The contest is held anonymously. Showing your work to other Users during the contest will disqualify you from the contest.
Rule 6 - Your image must be uploaded and sent to Tinkerbell by February 22nd, 23:59:59 (IcePets Time). It does not matter what website you upload it to or in what format. Your submission will count as long as it is sent to Tinkerbell within the time frame. You only need to submit the story text or image URL.

I used to roleplay on a Warrior Cats website, and when I made my account I wanted to use Bluefire, but that was already taken so my mom suggested adding an extra e. And then my friends would shorten it to Bluee when chatting outside of the roleplay. When it came to making a sona I modified my Warrior Cat character and shortened the name to just Bluee. This particular festival also has a number of items in the shops, so make sure you visit them all. Never know where things might turn up!
Retiring Items:
Okay, this can be a bit sad, but we have some items retiring this year! All returning festival items get a nice run of 4 years after their festival first release date, so we can make room for new ones. Festival Items originally released in 2021 will be retiring this year. These items are spread throughout the site, so be sure to grab them while you can. :)
Don't forget: if an item has a "24" in the corner, it will be 2024 ONLY and will disappear after 11:59 PM on the 19th. ( or thereabouts) If an item has a corner icon but no date on it, it is a returning festival item and should be back next year! If an item has no corner icon, well, it's just a normal item that will stick around after the festival.

And the breed name is displayed in a tag; because space is limited the breed is indicated by a three letter code, such as AER for Aerial. The full breed name and gen are displayed in a tooltip if you hover over the tag on desktop, or click on the tag in some mobile browsers. There are now tabs to switch between two views: the traditional By Gender and the new By Litter. The new view groups the offspring from each litter together, making it much easier to find litter mates. The new view also has enough room to display the full breed name as well as the generation and gender. We hope you find these changes as useful as we do! Today is a wonderful today, because it marks the start of Amourok! A time to win -- and a time to break -- hearts, it looks like our new friends have a thing or two to say...
"Ah!" Juniper says, beaming. "I'm grateful to see you have all come to your senses so quickly! Aurestal is clearly the best holiday -- we do live in Terrafrost, not Terraghost, after all -- and it just makes sense to spread the love during Amourok."
"That doesn't make sense," Mars scoffs. "It's called Terrafrost because of all the ice, not your obnoxious holiday. Which is not even obnoxious in a fun way! Mint everything, bows and glitter one cannot escape -- no no, Phantasmoire is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best holiday."
It seems like Amourok will be especially festive this year, with yet another Clash of Colours! Hop on over to the signup page to see if you'll be spreading Aurestal cheer or Phantasmoire frights while you search for Empty Heart Fragments!
These Fragments can be found stocking in NPC shops (excluding the Snow Jar Igloo, Port Rakor, and I.C.E Antiques), as well as from Heart Breaker and quest rewards -- and, if you're lucky, you'll find a Full Heart instead!
Once you've gathered all four Empty Heart Fragments, make sure to bring them to your team leader in order to transform them into a Full Jolly Heart or a Full Haunted Heart. The more Hearts you bring, the more points for your team! -

GENE RELEASES
We have released 14 new Nova wing recolors and 14 new Amora feathering recolors to the Alliances and Magic Shop! This month’s recolors consist of throwback favorites from previous months. You can find these items stocking through the month of February and rotating indefinitely in the Alliances.
We have also released recolors of our beloved Phoebe locks to the Cash Shop! These locks are available as individual genes or as a spotlight package. Be sure to check out the spotlight package to view all of the new colors here.
ELDER QUEST UPDATES
The Elder Quests will be receiving a fun upgrade to integrate CE lore into the feature. Ellastasia is hard at work whipping up beautiful art for the reorganization.
For those of you curious about the pending changes, the heart of Elder Quests will remain the same. Players will still be assigned an items and deliver back to their selected Elder. However, the prizes and dialogue will feel more intentional with the goal of a more immersive experience. Check out this fun preview for our first Elder!
DEVELOPMENT UPDATES
We are officially two weeks into our new server and wow - what a difference it has made with speed! Thank you all again for your patience while we worked through this move. We have turned our focus back to the UI upgrades at this time.
Inventory search fixes is in the final stage of testing and is very close to releasing! We will post an update in the Discord when this fix pushes, but we expect this bug to be fully resolved by tomorrow evening! For those of you unaware of this bug - we are experiencing issues with searching player inventory and pagination. Small bug, but a big headache for players with many items!
ETSY RESTOCK AND GIVEAWAY

What's that? The sound of glass shattering? It must be a game of Heart Breaker, which means it's almost time for Amourok!
To take part, click a heart once every 30 seconds to break it open. If you're lucky, you'll receive a festive consolation prize! If you're very lucky, you'll receive an Amourok Plush.
There is only one Amourok Plush per game, and its discovery ends the game. A new one will begin every thirty minutes (XX:00 and XX:30) -- if a game is already in progress, though, it will not reset, so keep breaking those hearts!
Is 30 seconds too long? Especially eager Terrafrostians may purchase an UHD from the I.C.E Shop to reduce the time between clicks to 15 seconds. (You will also get to select an additional perk -- the game timer reduction is included no matter what you choose!)
Heart Breaker will be providing some tasty snacks as its first wave of consolation prizes. They'll be switched out for some new ones on February 15th, so stock up!
Heart Breaker will run until February 24th, 23:59:59 IcePets Time.
They love me... they love me not... they love me... they need to make up their mind! NPC Shopkeepers across Terrafrost are now stocking both the classic Love Letter and Evil Letter (except for the Snow Jar Igloo, Port Rakor, and I.C.E Antiques).

Last month we announced Aero's themes and and opened them up to anyone who wanted to test them. You've given us some great feedback and we're happy to see how many of you have switched over to the new Mysterious theme. We've taken your suggestions to heart and Aero has fixed the readability issues you found. In a few days the new themes will become the default for everyone, so we invite you to take this opportunity to try them out. We think we've caught all the hard-to-read issues but if you find one let us know on this feedback thread . Please read that news post if you haven't done so already, as it talks about why we updated the themes and how much easier it will be to add new site features going forward. Thanks!

We're almost a week into February, and it appears that some Terrafrostians are... decorating for Aurestal? This strange phenomenon has been reported worldwide, primarily among homes with Aurestal pets. Some speculate that it's holdover from a couple of months ago. Others suspect they may be preparing for the holiday ten months early!
Understandably, many pets aren't fond of out-of-season decor. Mars, a Phantasmoire Krittle, has this to say:
"The oversaturation of Aurestal has gotten out of control!" the Krittle snarls. "The candy canes, the sparkly trees, the Aurestal carols -- it's simply disgusting! Blegh! It seems like Aurestal is beginning to overshadow other holidays that, in my humble opinion, deserve way more praise. If this doesn't settle down soon, the Phantasmoire community might have to take action..."
But Juniper, the Aurestal Traptur, feels differently.
"Nothing in Terrafrost compares to the warm, fuzzy feeling of waking up on Aurestal morning. That joy should not be restricted to one day a year!" the Traptur insists. "But if those Phantasmoire pets want to retaliate with their icky spiders and sticky slime and creepy costumes, that's fine by me. We'll just have to bring out the tinsel cannons!"
Hopefully, the tension between the Aurestal and Phantasmoire pets won't escalate too much in the coming days... After all, Amourok is just around the corner! -
