  1. Thank you for the clarification @Nate I really like this idea.
  2. @Nate I really love the further development and approach you have taken to the idea. My only question is regarding; What constitutes 'all' players? Do you mean site-wide or just from a multiplayer perspective (I.e groups of eight, or something), and if it is assorted into groups - how is that generated. I'm just wondering if inactive players will have a certain imbalance to the ability of finding rare items. Overall, love the further development and looking forward to a possible future video!
  3. Going to attempt to enter into this after work / at the weekend.
  4. I think you could either go one of two ways with this. You could add in an energy bar or something equivalent like turns/uses, or you could make the minigame into a 'daily' activity. Which means there wouldn't necessarily be a usage limit it's just players would do it until they receive an item (maybe from X available) and it could only be done once a day. I do agree that more tools would be better / interesting. Maybe linking the type of tools to whatever can be found. And maybe with the hammer being brute force, if used on a lower terrain (not deep) the possibility of the player receiving junk/scrap. As if the hammer damaged whatever they had initially found (also promoting more dialogue or something). I have no complaint with the mechanics of the game. I like the concept, in terms of terrain formation, yeah, it may be better to have set tiles but for now as placeholder images it still brings the point across. Edit; alternatively you could make the game into some kind of event like digging for clues (or a hidden URL) to receive a certain reward.
  5. I didn't realise NutrinoPets was gone. I actually used to play it quite a while back. It's a real shame when sites just, disappear. Although I don't think Neopets is ever going to be one of them (my 13 year old account just got banned on there).
  6. As a Brit, I follow this topic on and off but.. I do read his Twitter from time to time (I don't think it's a good idea he has one) and I'm currently reading up about the whole Russia scandal and the buzz word seems to be 'Impeachment' at the moment.
  7. I'll have a look after work today.
  8. Really! That's ridiculous. Although I am glad I didn't buy any type of collectors edition (if there was one- I did buy one for Mass Effect 3 though..) The facial animations and graphical differences between Mass Effect: A and both Horizon and The Surge are astounding though. Doesn't feel the same console at times.
  9. You're welcome. Let me know if I can help out with anything in the future. Just throw questions at me, haha. Also if you need any help with navigation/design assets just let me know.
  10. I really love the badvisor concept. I also like World Reborn, it reminds me of Jurassic Park..
  11. I am curious to see how this would be balanced personally. Like others have said it depends on the currency's worth and other in game aspects. For example, would a user on 'easy' mode ever be equal to a user on 'hard' mode? For a multiplayer game there must be overlapping qualities. And if so, what is the benefit of the 'hard' mode? Is it achievements, lore or special in game items/pets/etc. If the currency is universal to the site then does that mean, with a 'hard' player - to get rid of their debt - would their ability to increase their currency be either ''easier'' or more rewarding? As you'd need to be careful of in game inflation if the growth in certain 'modes' is different. Feasibly after the 'hard' users get rid of their debt, then what? Also do they have any repercussions of being in debt to begin with (like interest). Just trying to brainstorm a few ideas I can think of regarding the concept. I hope this helps the discussion.
  12. Just want to say that I love the concept/design and will be following your development and later ideas. I will try and provide input as/when you'd like feedback or critique. Even at the experimental stages.
  13. Can't say I've ever cheated in a game unless it utilised in game codes (Sims, basically). I dislike complete pay-to-win schemes. It's frustrating, I don't mind grinding to get X rare items but when theres always someone that shells out a lot of money for in game advantages I feel less of an inclination to input an excess amount of time if it's common place. So my interest becomes fleeting at times.
  14. Hi @Aminirus! Thank you for the kind welcome. I quite love fantasy novels myself, and I must say that I'm jealous regarding graphic novels. I love graphic novels. I'm learning realism at the moment, working on proportions, etc. I used to always (try) and draw wolves, but I really want to work on my skills as I find drawing therapeutic. I'm working just with traditional drawing for now but I also have a tablet display/monitor for digital graphic design.
  15. Love the changes. I'm using TGL on my mobile so, it seems so smooth and theres lovely colours and the display is just, so nice, haha.
  16. Sorry I didn't manage to come back online earlier. Completely redecorating at the moment and the site was under maintenance when I tried logging in. Graphics wise from what I played it looks really good. I'm not going to even mention my disappointment with Mass Effect: Andromeda though..
  17. I love how the law has to adapt over time to accommodate new and emerging technologies, isn't that a bit weird? Haha, and thanks. The internet is certainly one of the most prominent features we have in society.
  18. Initially I wanted to get in Computing and Business but my course was dropped during my second year so I transferred. I got to learn a bit of law in the process and I do like the concepts of data acquisition, recovering deleted data, etc. Ideally I'd like to work against preventing child abuse by being one of those people that screens images, content, etc. I'd like to help out one of our youngest demographics by just, doing more. The online world is fascinating but, alas dangerous. I've always been a bit geeky in terms of computing. I absolutely love learning new concepts and quite enjoy challenges.
  19. That's a shame. It looked like a bit of a gem. I've also noticed that Clanheart seems to have died down development wise? I used to actively follow it's development.
  20. Just thought I might as well say "'ello!" I'm a 23 year old Computer Forensics graduate, working full time just as a general data admin for a school. I'm an avid lover of poetry and creative fiction. I'm currently in the process of 'learning to draw', haha - and brushing up on my web design skills. Feel free to ask me any questions.
  21. So, hopefully this doesn't bring up too much of a bad discussion but I managed to accidentally stumble across Evocality online. What exactly happened with that? Just looks like last update was in 2015 then there's absolutely nothing? Just curious, thanks.
  22. Southeast England near Cambridge (UK).
  23. Anyone else bought The Surge? Yes I know it's literally just came out but I preordered mine (PS4). I managed to play 10 minutes before work this morning (ahem, currently at work..) and it's safe to say it looks like quite an intriguing game. I'm still mildly obsessed with Horizon Zero Dawn though, haha.
