I miss the days of graphical chats! I've always been curious on how the creation of one actually works, but sadly I wouldn't really know where to begin either. It would be awesome to see them emerge again!

Do you mean recolors/marking designs? If so, they're $15 per base recolor. So if you were looking to get 3 bases colored, then you are correct! It would be $45

I'm in search of uh...well a lot of information to be honest haha. I've got an idea I've been solidifying for a pet site, I'm an artist so the art part comes easily to me. However, due to a wrist injury that I've sustained, drawing is kind of impossible right now. So, I figured I could perhaps look into learning coding/programming to get some momentum elsewhere! I consider myself fairly adaptable for absorbing knowledge so I'm up for a challenge! I've built websites before, for myself (mainly my portfolio so its nothing spectacular and tbh I've since switched to wordpress for setting that up for the sake of ease as far as content management goes.)

My biggest question is as follows...are there any frameworks out there that are available? Doesn't have to be free. I'm more than willing to pay for such a thing if it exists.

My other big question is ...where should I start when it comes to learning what it takes to set up and run a pet site? As far as features goes, I'd consider Flight Rising and Lioden to be my favourite pet sites and providing the most inspiration to me!

I apologize for this topic being very broad, I know there's a lot that I have to learn but I'm primarily looking for a good push me in the right direction!

Hello! I'm Skellri!

I'm a digital illustrator pursuing a path in creature design! I love fantastical creatures ranging from commonly known mythological beasts, to creatures from Star Wars and Monster Hunter. I also absolutely enamoured by equines and dinosaurs/other paleo creatures! Currently I have a huge interest in the ARPG scene on deviantart, so I've spent a bit of time participating in that! I am relatively familiar with the pet site scene, I've done work for Sylestia, Cybura, Folk of Lore, Faenaria, and helped with assets for other projects here and there as well. I would love to get involved in such work again, but I am also readily available for other positions as well! Anything from game assets to concept art, colorist positions, and illustrative work. 

I am most comfortable with animal subjects, 

but can edit accessories/hairstyles/etc onto pre-created human linearts (for avatars and such!)

 I'm willing to adapt to different subjects as well if discussed!

ive entered in a few art competitions before! won a couple of ribbons when i was younger, and ive entered art contests on DA for arpg related creatures before and done okay in those. I'd like to enter more larger scale competitions, though. for example there was a kaiju design contest hosted by my  inspiration, Terryl Whitlatch and i couldn't enter due to lack of time. still kicking myself!

- 1 dog and 1 cat,  no kids but the pets sure make me think i have kids sometimes lmao. they are my furbabies

personally i do not like death aspects in pet sites. as a person who has very little time, i cherish what i work for (virtual pets definitely included be it on pet sites, arpg species, or games like ARK: Survival Evolved) and i work hard to get things i really like/enjoy. to watch it disappear due to not logging in/lack of activity is a huge bummer.

My favorite shows are as follows;

Game of Thrones, Vikings, The Walking Dead, NCIS, House, Law & Order: SVU (I can only watch so many episodes at once of that...I get super depressed lol) I also love cartoon series but haven't seen any lately that have caught my eye. I do love Gravity Falls though!
