The "Let's get to know each other" thread

Hello fellow TGL'ites :)  . I am hoping this topic will catch on, and we can get to know all our members in more details. I know we do individual introduction threads for everyone, but these tend to be more "Welcome, glad you made it." type of affairs.

What I want to know, is about all of you.

So, lets introduce yourselves by sharing some basic facts about ourselves, these can be in the form of:

  • How old you are.
  • What your gender is.
  • Where you live (can be general or exact).
  • What you do / What you are studying.
  • How many pets (and/or) kids you have.
This is also an open topic, so feel to reply with questions or input from what people post. This topic is all about getting to know each other and saying "Howdy"! :heart:

  • I am 30 years old (31 as of November 4th)
  • I am a male.
  • I currently live in San Diego, CA. Late November moving up to Washington.
  • I am a Software Engineer by career, but am a total geek.
  • I have four doggo's, and 2 kiddos. I sometimes think I have 6 doggo's occasionally.

  • I'm 24 years old. I'll be 25 in February. 
  • I'm a guy.
  • I live in Louisiana, US. I'll be moving to Colorado sometime next year.
  • I'm currently an IT consultant/network "specialist". I have an associates degree in IT Networking. I'm planning on moving from my current consulting role to a systems/network administrator role with a hosting firm.
  • We have 2 adorable cats. Their names are Weezy and Cleocatra.  :face_cat:

Where you live (can be general or exact): Inside the insanity that is my mind. XD AKA Florida.

What you do / What you are studying: Programming

How many pets (and/or) kids you have: 1 crazy dog, beagle jack Russell mix and 1 7 month old baby (born on my bday this year xD). She is trying to figure crawling out...So...it's like having 2 dogs....

  • What you do / What you are studying. I'm a full-time freelance illustrator, work from home. And English / Spanish translator and anthropologist's assistant on my vacation time. XD
  • How many pets (and/or) kids you have. I have a 10 year old german shepherd and an 14-15 year old mixed breed cat ~

    - Also indirectly includes 4 nerdy goats, who-knows-how-many chickens, and a white dove. You know doves make laughing noises? They do. A lot. He also fights himself in the mirror.

I'm a 45 year old female (yep, seems I'm the Momma of the community :D  ) living in Florida.  I'm currently getting my Teacher's Certification, and I work as an online tutor.  I have no kids, but I have a dog and a tree frog.

I'm 21, female, and from North Carolina. I'm in my senior year at SCAD for my BFA in Illustration! After I graduate, my dream would be to freelance through an agency or on my own for children's books, concept art, and game assets. I'd love for Kasaria to take off enough to support itself and maybe earn a little extra income, but its more a labor of love right now  :)

As for pets, I've always had dogs and hamsters, but currently I have two jack russell mixes back home. While I'm away for college I help look after three cats who have way too much personality for their own good. :P

  • What you do / What you are studying: I want to pursue a career in art, specifically in animation (because I want to create a tv show or two). But for now, I am trying to find freelance work for rookies like myself. c:   I also do a bit of story-telling/creating.. But they're usually fandom-esque stuff.
  • How many pets (and/or) kids you have: I have a black kitten, and I have no children.
