Human avatars

Is having a human avatar a big selling point for you when deciding to play a game? Why or why not?

Not me personally. I like things I can collect, and usually you only get to make one HA so it doesnt keep me going.

They're fun, but I would prefer being able to upload my own avatar. 

(Dappervolk has nice human (and other specie) avatars and I love their painterly style since it's so unique! Probably the only exception that I would enjoy HAs)

I prefer animal based avatars but I think it is more important to choose your own avatar as some players tend to be turned off by humans.

It isn't a selling point for me to join but it has been a key feature to keep me interested a few times. It really depends on how well the are done though. (I like Subeta's but dislike Kingdomsky's - Mara's are growing on me). So don't focus so much on it being a key feature unless you know you can do it well, and if it's something you really want on the site. Otherwise you can focus on other, more unique aspects.
