  2. Welcome to Grifflies, a breedable griffin forum & art game! The game is undergoing a critical revamp and is still very much under heavy development. But our Discord updates every week, so feel free to join and read up on the news! Baby grifflie art, pictured above We are looking for artists to help color grifflies for users who breed them, users who age up their grifflies from baby to adult, and for help with adding new markings to the grifflie bases. If you are familiar with PaintTool Sai and are interested in the game, please consider applying! PaintTool Sai is not necessary to edit this file, but it is HIGHLY recommended. You must have access to Discord, the Grifflies forum, and DeviantArt to apply! If you have any questions, please feel free to message me here, or on Discord at Tanya #9358 APPLY ! || Discord || Forum || DA Group
  3. Not sure if you are still looking, but I'll drop you a message!
  4. Forum | Discord | DeviantArt | Twitter | Patreon Grifflies is a dynamic adoptable and breedable griffin forum game, sporting over 10 different species of griffins, 50+ markings, 10+ mutations, and over 100 unique items to collect! With the new Second Flight update, the grifflies thread has received a drastic makeover and drastic gameplay update. This thread here will be updating as the grifflies thread does. From humble beginnings on Furvilla, Grifflies has grown a wonderful and tight-knit community. We are currently in the development stages of the grifflies website, and hope to eventually move away from Furvilla entirely. In the meantime, while our programmer constructs the website, a team of mods and I offer a breeding and collection game that focuses on interaction and character development that we manually manage. It is currently only playable on FV and our forum. At present, the update is still very much underway, but you can still become a member of the discord, sign-up for the forum and read how to play. , If you become a patron, you can unlock goods to be obtained every month! Along with the ability to test and see features before they release, participate in exclusive design raffles, and have the opportunity to join the site when it finally goes live before anyone else. Please feel free to message me here or on Discord (Tanya#9358) for more information!
  5. I think you're absolutely right, you've brought up some very useful points. Thank you very much for sharing, I should certainly take some time to really think about how I can properly reward players to give them the incentive to continue to play the game in a way that does not feel dull or repetitive. Or, as you said, a good kind of repetition.
  6. What makes a game not repetitive? Playing a game should not be a chore. In developing grifflies, we're working on making some daily tasks to do, but they should be fun tasks and not things that you feel bored and obligated to do. When you play a game consistently, why do you play it? What makes it fun and makes you want to keep coming back? Are you constantly doing the same thing, or is there something different you are doing/working towards each day?
  7. How much for the meat and baking items sets?
  8. Oh these are cute little things, I like them a lot! Thank you very much for this lovely addition.
  9. @Lupin is a smol sweetiepie, an amazing writer and quick thinker plox hire her thankie. Good to see you here LOOPS.
  10. Haha, it does! Thank you very much!
  11. I've gotten a lot of planning and groundwork done beforehand, but I've definitely met in the middle where I think of a really neat idea and tack it onto my to-do list. For example, I already had a good grasp on the features I wanted to implement in addition to the features that are currently available, but while fleshing out currently existing features, I came up with additional ones that may or may not have pertained to what I was working on. So it's a work in progress constantly, which I think is both productive and counter-productive in a lot of ways.
  12. Thank you for the ping! Generally, it's later at night when creativity strikes me. So its usually pretty quiet and secluded at that time A very calming, comfortable, and peaceful environment helps a lot. I always listen to music when I draw as well! I enjoy fast melodies and instrumental music, it keeps my mind busy but still allows me to focus on what I'm working on. If I need to draw, like a commission for example, I'll typically sketch some things on a 2000x2000 sheet to warm-up and get some muse before I actually start working on what I need to work on.
  13. I enjoy toying with various different cartoon styles, there's just so much more freedom with it, its the most aesthetically pleasing to me, and I really enjoy it. I have to agree with Aminirius, realistic can be more time consuming, but I think the same can be said the other way around depending on how much detail you actually put into your piece.
  14. Preview of some Grifflie things I'm working on at the moment!
  15. @Nate Yeah, no kidding, haha! I've been pretty good, things are turning around for the best I think! What about yourself? I remember you ha mentioned working with a horse sim the last time we spoke, is that something you are still working on now, or have you pursued other endeavors? @Aminirus Thank you very much for the warm welcome! The site actually runs really nice and the layout isnt as bright so its very pleasing on the eyes, I've really been enjoying my stay so far! I'm very excited to start meeting new people and seeing everything that the community has to offer.
  16. Hello @Cadence ! I'm particularly looking for a coded and responsive layout yes.
  17. @Natefrom Icepets? If you are, this is Dante-if you remember me at all, haha. Good to see you again either way! Thank you for the link I really appreciate it, thats very helpful!
  18. Here is some old item art I had, which has since been revamped. These no longer serve any purpose for me, nor do they look very similar to the revamped ones they were replaced with. You will receive the PSDs for these as well. Looking for $1 for it. If you'd be interested in purchasing more items , like purchasing a custom item bundle from me to get a little more for your money, perhaps we can work something out. Cute pet I did as a style test for a site a long while ago. Two versions available, looking for $5. No PSD is available.
  19. I'm looking for a layout that is clean, concise, and nice to look at. This would be a layout for a breeding pestite, so this layout will be on every page. I originally did this messy mockup to give you an idea of what I'm particularly looking for, however, I'm completely okay with you taking any creative liberties as well: There should be a placeholder image for the page background. Any placeholder will do. This little box hovers in the corner and follows you down the page. Can be collapsed/closed. Placeholder image banner/button Navigation bar Bar for stats/info Main text area Please let me know your price range! At the moment, we have $200 to spend on other assets, about half of that comes from our Patreon. If that is not enough to cover your fees, this may not be the job for you. If there is any further information that you need, please post or privately message me, I would be happy to answer any questions that you have, thank you!
  20. They go by Lupin, although they are not a member here yet, perhaps I'll bring them along here sometime! And thank you, I hope so as well. I do have one question, however. Is there a specific post for rules? I've been poking around, and have found specific posts for guidelines for specific threads, but no general rule list. Did I just miss it?
  21. Thank you for the warm welcome! I'm very glad to be here, and I'm also very excited to be a part of the community! I've started my own breeding site project and I'm looking to hire some help, and I've been waiting for VPL to come back up for some time now so that I could hire that help. But it's been a bit over a month now, so I decided to try and look for another place where people could look for those services. A friend pointed me in the direction of this forum. Although they are not actually a member of this forum, they thought it looked like a nice place to get started, and after looking around myself, I have to agree. I'm very eager to get started and I hope you'll enjoy having me c:
