  1. You can post it in the "marketplace" channel. I would go to your profile on TGL and add your Discord account information so that it gets linked, so then your username will be updated and you get the "Verified" role.
  2. @Eve 2 Welcome! I've poked the Discord channel as well to see if anyone is interested.
  3. Welcome @RFumachi! You should come into our Discord server as well!
  4. I love the art, really enjoy where this is going!
  5. I'm loving this! It's terrible that it ended up going down but I'm glad we have fans that are willing to bring it back up!
  6. @Chaz I've reached out to them on the channel I know of linking here!
  7. I think @halichu has been doing a fair bit with Imagick lately and may be able to help. I'll poke around a little too.
  8. This reminds me of the Professor Layton games which every time you start the game up again, it will give you a "previously on" to bring you back up to speed. I really liked this mechanic.
  9. @sf9 Great question! On IcePets, we don't have any breeding or anything, so they effectively only hunger/get bored on days you show up at the site, that said they do age. But that's when it gets complicated in your situation. As bad as it may sound, I think "the show must go on" and more importantly it's the user's decision for not showing up on the site, would trigger me to essentially say if there are core mechanics that work with the site, your first goal is to make those stable. Unforunately it does punish some users who disappear for a while and then come back. That being said, the likelihood of returning after being gone for 6ish months is already pretty low IMO. It becomes back of mind to them. So, it's best to almost treat them as a churned user and then move on. If they come back, you could always offer a "welcome back" bundle which could help restore some aspects of their pets in order to re-incentivize.
  10. I absolutely love this concept! I can't wait to see what comes next.
  11. Awesome @Recurrence I'm looking forward to seeing how this evolves!
  12. Two small things added this morning: A progress bar when uploading multiple items so you see where it is in the process A bunch of quick actions that you can take when uploading images in bulk (found from having to manually add the text a lot of times)
  13. @freedom The migration is now complete, and the suggestion has been implemented (not the modification one but the multiple reviews).
  14. It's been a long time coming, but some updates are finally here! I’ve migrated servers (not that this really affects anything). But it’s now back in a state that I’m able to fairly easily push out updates for the site. Voting page now lets you know if there is metadata being sent back to the site you are voting for (only purpose of this is in order to get credit for your votes) Reviews now show up to 3 reviews at a time for the site, refreshing will grab a different list if there are more available. For site owners: the ability to use a URL or directly upload images (in bulk or one at a time) I’m going to be working on getting the sister site for all artwork up soonish. But in the meanwhile let me know if you have any suggestions for making it better! Also - DM me if you are interested in helping to maintain information about past sites.
  15. Hi @freedom Thank you for this feedback! All of the reviews are available here on the site, but I do understand where you are coming from. What I can do is add in pagination, and maybe several more reviews on that specific tab. The not being able to edit was a decision made fairly early on just to prevent people from randomly going back and dropping the reviews after the fact. But I do agree that a "timeout" window is likely needed to allow for exactly what you mentioned. We all make mistakes when typing and would love to tweak it after the fact! I do have plans to migrate where it's hosted as well, so I will try to get these issues resolved within the coming weeks! ~judda
  16. I haven't seen any show up on the market lately other than Chibipaws which sold late last year.
  17. @Terris purchased it. I had originally reached out to help but didn't hear anything. Now when the hosting went down, they didn't have backups of the database other than the one they got when it was originally purchased.
  18. Personally I like fantasy in games because I feel like everyone uses the real animals a bit too much, so I love how creative people can be! ~judda
  19. @banriionAre the API endpoints already made and defined? Are there mockups/UIs designed around this? ~judda
  20. The Discord bot has been down for a little while, but as of last night, it is back up and running! It should automatically grant you the "Unverified" role if you haven't linked your account with the forums yet. In order to link your account, all you need to do is go to the settings page (https://thegaminglist.com/settings) and provide your Discord ID {nickname}#{identifier}. And the next cycle, the bot will automatically sync your permissions with the account here. Please Note: At this time, if you change your Discord ID you will automatically lose permissions (and go back to "Unverified"). I will be working on this in the next few days in order to make sure that this gets adjusted so we can automatically keep your account up-to-date. Let us know if you have any questions! ~judda
  21. I do like that idea ... I was thinking of it less of litters and more of 1:1 births like a lot of different sites use. If you are able to have that abstraction then you are golden :D
  22. Totally never thought of that ... that's what I get for early morning thinking. Honestly, with the right index it's probably fine because the COI will be dependent on a specific or two specific foundations so the heritage I wouldn't be too worried. As long as the data types are all ints you will have fairly quick results, and we can always revise if it slows down :D
